2009 March: Minnesota Partnership Award
Prof. Oh’s team and Dr. Moses Rodriguez’s team at Mayo Clinic were awarded $1.1M in a research grant from Minnesota Partnership for Biotechnology and Medical Genomics. New and exciting nanotechnology developed by our team will be applied to advance our understanding of and ability to treat neurological disease.
2009 January

Hyungsoon and Nate received NSF travel grants to present their work at the Frontiers in Nanophotonics and Plasmonics conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Nate received the 3rd prize at the Honeywell Nobel Initiative Graduate Student Poster Session. Dr. Roderick MacKinnon, a 2003 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, presented the award to Nate. Congratulations!
